On September 23rd, 2020, Aaron Borders won Best Drama TV Pilot for his movie, All Alone.
All Alone is about Melissa Arnold who is a thirty something mother of two daughters who is addicted to heroin and alcohol. Her day job is a waitress at a local diner. She must make a life or death choice of whether to take care of her children or succumb to her addiction.
All Alone has been accepted into two film festivals: Red Dirt Film Festival that premiered back in February and Bare Bones which has been postponed to October 2020 because of Covid-19. At Red Dirt, two of the actresses were nominated for Best Supporting Actress and at Bare Bones, it was nominated in three categories.
The inspiration behind the movie was Aaron’s wife’s ex-sister-in-law was an alcoholic and Aaron’s wife’s best friend once witnessed her sister shooting up.
